Abstract: A randomized controlled study (Clinical Trials.Gov: NCT02717676) included multiparous women with singleton full-term pregnancy. SG score was assessed according to Atwal score at four body sites (Abdomen, breast, buttocks, hips). Women with total score >12 were randomized to Group (A): episiotomy was done after crowning of the fetal head during the second stage of labour and Group (B): no episiotomy was done. The primary outcome was the rate of third and fourth degree perineal tears.

Abstract: Physiological changes in pregnancy make them more susceptible to infection. SARS-CoV-2 infection ranges in severity from common cold to acute respiratory distress syndrome. With the incredible increase in numbers of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), multiple studies were done with the significant increase of COVID-19 infected pregnant women. These studies support that pregnant women are not only susceptible to infection but more liable for severity and complications that may end unfortunately by death.

Abstract: Clomiphene citrate resistance (CCR) occur in 15 - 40% in women with PCOS. Several studies have shown that letrozole is superior to CC regarding side effects, ovulation, and pregnancy rates. Letrozole or gonadotropins use for ovulation induction in CCR is not well established which is superior and most safe.

Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms have been developed to make real-time analyses and decisions that simulate human thinking, with tremendous applications in healthcare. By uniting patient data and medical knowledge, AI can predict for and identify malignancies more accurately and efficiently than a human can. Given the increasing utility of artificial intelligence (AI) in health care, we proposed to study AI research publications in gynecologic oncology. Trends and disparities in AI research were examined in gynecologic compared to other reproductive cancers, including breast and prostate cancer. Furthermore, we evaluated AI research in screening, diagnosis, surgery, and treatment.

Abstract: Fetal red blood cells can express the D-antigen as early as 52 days after the last menstrual period. However, there is no convincing evidence for the benefit of using anti-D immune globulin (RhIG) in the first trimester. The aim of the current review is therefore to determine whether administration of RhIG to women undergoing first trimester spontaneous or induced abortions prevents subsequent sensitization.

Abstract: Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) is a rare, though increasing complication of pregnancy. Prior studies have suggested standardized management to PAS at tertiary centers can improve outcomes. We studied the effect of standardized multidisciplinary care at a single tertiary care center on composite maternal morbidity by reviewing outcomes retrospectively before and after implementation of a standardized treatment protocol.
